Timna - Eliphaz's Wife

Timna (Seir's daughter) was a concubine to Eliphaz (Esau's son). This union gave birth to Amalek and joined the Horites (Seir's family) to the Edomites (Esau's family).

Translation Note
In 1 Chronicles 1:36, some translations make it look like Timna is a son of Eliphaz, however, Genesis 36 verses 12 and 22 make it clear that Timna was Eliphaz's concubine and Lotan's sister. See the comparion of KJV and NKJV below:

KJV (incorrect): "The sons of Eliphaz; ... and Timna, and Amalek."

NKJV (correct): "And the sons of Eliphaz were ... and by Timna, Amalek."

Alias Note
Don't confuse this Timna/Timnah to the Edomite Chief mentioned later in Genesis 36.
