Goliath - The Philistine Giant from Gath who Fought David
Goliath is well known as the giant that was slain by David with a sling shot and a stone. He was from a family of giants who lived in Gath and had join the Philistines in battle against Israel. The name (Goliath) seems to imply that he exposed the weakness of others and took advantage of that weakness. The irony, however, is that it was his weakness that led to not only his death but the death of at least 4 other giants in his family.
