Ecclesiastes
- Book Name
- Ecclesiastes means "Assembly Member"
- Main Topic(s)
- Ponderings of Solomon
- Description
- Ecclesiastes is a depressing dive into the meaning of life especially during times when we don't see God working. It is understood that the writer is King Solomon who refers to himself as "Preacher" or, more specifically, one who speaks to an assembly. One thing we can be hopeful about today is that, unlike Solomon, we now have the Holy Spirit to guide us through tough times. We should also note, that even without the Holy Spirit, Solomon still found hope in trusting our Heavenly Father, and we can too.
